I was gonna post this later, but I'll be on Vacation for a week while it's You-Know-Who's Anniversery on the horizon. Might as well do it now.
Anyway, it's that time again! Mr. NeedleMouse rides again. And this time, his pals are tagging along to foil another one of Robotnik's schemes. So the Magnificent Three are running through Mirage Saloon, smashing Badniks, bounce around on pianos and spin around on spinny chairs. Suddenly a light-blue, round, bunny appeared out of nowhere with a giant ring portal that leads to either another timeline or a game. WHO IS THIS WABBIT? Is he an alternate Sonic? A Fan Character right out of a fanfic? Or perhaps one of Oswald's sons? Whatever the case, The hedgehog about to follow the "white rabbit" down to the rabbit hole to a dimension of chaos either figuratively or literally....And probably mess up the continuity of ALL the Sonic media even more. Here ya go Sonic Fans, you can make up the rest up from here.
Actually this is Feel the Rabbit, one of Sonic's Prototype characters that was made before the Hedgehog made his debut. Believe it or not, Sega decided to make a Mascot to rival a certain Famous Plumber, even though there was a mascot who temporarily got the title. The following contestant includes Teddy Roosevelt lookalike in Jammies, the prototype of Eggy; A Cowboy Bulldog, A Wolf with an American shirt, an Armadillo, and this little bunny. This Bunny was originally gonna be the main mascot with a game about master platforming, picking up blocks, and throw at enemies. Unfortunately, the technology was limited at the time. After this rabbit slowly morphed into Sonic the Hedgehog and got his own game, the company still thinks that rabbit has potential. Suddenly Feel has inspired another Sega Character named RISTAR.
Can't wait for Sonic Mania and Forces to be on Market. I'm already sold for both of them. The animation in the trailer was SO COOL. Tyson Hesse did an amazing job with the recent Sonic projects. I also love his portrayal of Sonic. I was surprised that he did Hedgehog the Sonic comic series. Though I love the Levels, gameplay, and animation of Mania, I'd find it weird that Mirage Saloon was inspired by a forgotten level in Sonic 2, but this reminds me a LOT of this AOSTH cartoon when Sonic and Tails were running this one-horse town and protect the citizens from the robotic varmints. Either that the AOSTH has more secret sources of the Sonic games than I thought or it's just pure coincidence. Anyway, Enjoy.
