May the Hoenn Princess

This is my special tribute to my favorite Pokemon Coordinator, May. I love her design and her personality. She's a ditz and a glutton, but a total sweetheart and a tough trainer. She has made a big impact on my life. She made me care about Pokemon as a franchise. She is one of those characters that show that it's okay to not know your goal at first and that it's not impossible to try a new path and succeed. She teaches me that I don't need the background to try something new and I can start a style of my own. She has reached her dream to travel around the world as her own trainer.

It really hurts me that I'll never get to see her again because of various circumstances. I really miss her so badly. Especially when other trainers nowadays get the special guest appearance except her. May deserves better. She deserves to be well respected as one of the greatest companions that helps Ash grow as a character. Since Ash will retire, I guess I'll never have the chance to see her say Congrats...or even "Hi." to Ash.

If May never comes back, I want to say "Thank you, May." Thank you for this journey. Thank you for teaching me the basics of a Hero's Journey. I miss you dearly and I wish I can see you again in a possible future.
